About SAMG

The South Australian Microprocessor Group Inc. (SAMG) seeks to bring together people with an interest in advancing the knowledge and application of small computing systems and related technologies.  Its members range from students to retired persons and include technicians, engineers and scientists as well as members of the general public who share an interest in these areas.

The SAMG is interested in the application of electronics, computers and software to Industry, Business, Education, Science and Recreation.

Membership of the group is open to anyone who shares the group’s interests.

Meetings are usually held on the second Friday of each month at the WEA in Angas Street, Adelaide, starting at 7:30pm.

Membership Fee: Membership currently costs $10 per year. New members joining in the last half of the year – July to December – are charged half the Annual fee. Membership fees for renewing members are due in advance of the group’s financial year – January to December – and can be paid from July through to December.

Meeting Schedule: Usually at 7:30pm on the 2nd Friday of each month.
The common exceptions are:-

  • If Easter occurs on the 2nd Friday of the month then the meeting for that month is held on the 3rd Friday.
  • December meeting is 1st Friday if the 2nd Friday is too close to Xmas.
